2 August 2019. Permare Group’s Amer Yachts has announced it is ditching fibreglass in an effort to commit to sustainable yacht production. Instead, the builder has committed to constructing yachts out of the volcanic fibre FILAVATM of ISOMATEX S.A. which is composed of “enriched volcanic rock”.
We are pleased to announce that we have entered into a strategic agreement with company Gruschwitz Textilwerke AG. Effective from June 1st, 2019, Gruschwitz Textilwerke AG is appointed as ISOMATEX’s exclusive distributor for a large list of European countries for our FILAVATM conventional yarns, devoted to the technical textiles and composites industries.
ISOMATEX’s team is pleased to announce the official launch of the international collaborative research and innovation project intitled FCC (Full Composite Car) whose goal is the development of the first lightweight car, fully made of composite reinforced by FILAVATM fibres and 100% recyclable, manufactured with high production throughput-rate.

Acknowledged as an important milestone, the launch of this unique OPEN60AAL boat was successfully completed on Thursday 17 May 2018 at the Port of Sable d'Olonne.
