High-pressure composite hydrogen vessels reinforced by mineral FILAVA fibers

Thanks to a close cooperation with a renown German university, a new generation of high-pressure composite hydrogen vessels reinforced by mineral FILAVA fibers have been developed with very advantageous gravimetric and volumetric energy efficiency. With burst test pressure at nearly 1.000 Bar, this new generation hydrogen tank shows exceptional high strength while being exceptionally lightweight; thanks to FILAVA fibers' high elongation at break, such a tank can absorb higher loads (improved fatigue resistance + higher safety) while achieving longer operational lifetime (cycling). This new generation hydrogen tank is a perfect solution for automotive, aircraft or nautical applications but can also advantageously be used for large volume stationary storages.
With a high level of recyclability (mineral FILAVA fibers are entirely recyclables), this new generation of high-pressure hydrogen storage vessels will take a leading role in the upcoming hydrogen revolution!
