Rebranding FILAVA to TENRON

After more than 17 years of dedicated research and development, we are thrilled to unveil our new worldwide registered trademark TENRON® (NB.: “TEN” represents “TEN”sile strength and “RON” is a name whose meaning is “leader.” TENRON, therefore, means the “strongest material”).

This rebranding reflects our commitment to excellence, strength and leadership in the industry. Therefore, the use of TENRON by our customers as well as any reference to ISOMATEX is trictly limited (see article 22 of ISOMATEX SA General Terms and Conditions of Sales and Delivery) to ensure that it becomes synonymous with cutting-edge solutions and unwavering performance and quality.

TENRON will replace our current trademark FILAVA, which we will stop using immediately. All our products remain exactly the same, they will just be named differently. This change was necessary as we developed over the years many downstream products, which had only technical appellations as the current trademark Filava was being used only for direct roving. Moreover, the obvious meaning of Filava (“thread” made of “lava”) did not reflect at all the reality of our products, which are not made out of “lava” (or basalt), but out of a batch of various minerals that we carefully mix and melt according to our own recipe. This batch of various minerals results in an aggregation of minerals, which look like a shiny intensive black stone, called now TENRON.

TENRON® is part of our global marketing and positioning strategy.

From now on our products carry only the name TENRON and are named as follows:
