Isomatex SA (Isomatex) is a premier European manufacturer established in 2005 in Belgium, ISO 9001 (globally recognised standard for quality management systems) certified. Isomatex is expected to be “Aeronautics, Space & Defence” (European certification EN9100) and DNV-GL (marine industry) certified by the end of 2025.

Isomatex specialises in cutting-edge material solutions for a diverse range of industries, including aeronautics, marine, energy, sports and leisure, safety, mobility, luxury and even medical.

Isomatex’s products are known under the trademark “TENRON”. TENRON is a disruptive product and sets itself apart as nature’s strongest and lightweight mineral material.

TENRON significantly reduces CO2  emissions and will play a key role in the circular economy.

Our history

2005

Creation of Isomatex.

2008

Isomatex’s factory started to be built.

2010

Production of Isomatex’s proprietary REACH compliant sizings (coatings / binders) for all its applications begins.

2014

First framework agreement with a global leader in the aerospace industry.

2018

First high-end sport goods produced with TENRON (bikes, boats, etc.).

2021 April

TENRON achieves RINA certification for the boat industry.

2021 May

Isomatex becomes a “Global Visionary” candidate at UBS, Switzerland.

2021 June

Isomatex leads the clean energy transition for cars with the FCC (Full Composite Car) project with a world-class engineering group.

2022 August

Isomatex developed the world’s first high-end, recyclable thermoplastic composite used by a renowned Swiss watchmaker.

2022 September

TENRON includes the full range of products from fibres to engineered substrates to composites.

2022 November

First small wind turbine using TENRON.

2024 January

Start of the hypercar for the 24 Hours of Le Mans with leading world car manufacturer whose body is made with TENRON.

2024 September

First joint patent with Airbus Helicopters (division of AIRBUS Group) for a high-end insulation application making TENRON an aerospace accredited material.

 

2025 March

Isomatex increases its production capacity up to 20 times.

2025 May

Isomatex’s products are rebranded as TENRON. Launch of its new website.

2025 December

Expected:

LCA assessment
